Mark Claypole

Position: Principal Architect
B.Arch (Natal), Arch. (S.A.) M.I.A., M.I.A.Z., M.A.C.Z.
Mark qualified at the University of Natal in 1982 and commenced working in South Africa and Zimbabwe, before travelling to England and Switzerland to gain experience internationally in 1983. Whilst there he undertook several large residential and commercial projects and won a major Architectural Competition in Neuchatel, Switzerland.

On returning to Zimbabwe two years later he became a partner with Architectural and Planning Studio in Harare, and Senior Partner soon thereafter. During this time, an extensive and varied portfolio of work was successfully undertaken by him throughout Zimbabwe with several projects being undertaken in Zambia, Mozambique, Botswana and Tanzania, for local and international organisations.

His portfolio covers all major building types and phases of the building process, specialising in Design and Project Management of Educational facilities, Commercial developments, tourism and the Oil sector.

He remains a Partner of Architectural and Planning Studio, Zimbabwe.
